Welcome to “Carpe Sidera” (“Seize the Stars”), a photographic project by Gianluca Masi devoted to the extraordinary, precious relationship between the firmament and the monuments of Rome.
The author is firmly convinced that this project, by sharing works celebrating the elegant equilibrium between the starry sky and the archaeological treasures of Rome, could help rising a better awareness to preserve this relationship, full of beauty and wonder, risking to go extinct because of too much artificial light.
